How we conceive future TIGUERÓN collections: strictly limited runs, Dominican authorship and individual pieces.
A collection may contain a finite number of pieces yet encompass many identities. At TIGUERÓN, limiting the series and the individuality of each bottle are distinct ideas we seek to unite.
THE ESSENTIAL IDEA
Limited edition describes the scope of a series. Unique piece describes each bottle's particular combination of hand painting and larimar.
A series with a beginning and an end
Our vision is to develop strictly limited collections with Dominican artists. Each must have a recognisable concept and a defined quantity announced at launch.
Limiting a collection means making a decision, not adding a word to a label. We want visitors to understand what belongs to that edition, who contributed to it and what distinguishes it from those that follow.
Collecting an artistic perspective
A collection's appeal can begin with a palette, an interpretation of the tiger or a story linked to its artist's sensitivity. Brand continuity does not require every collaboration to say the same thing.
We value a recognisable family without repetition. Sculptural form and larimar offer a connecting thread; each collaboration brings a particular reading within that universe.
Every bottle, its own identity
The same hand-painted composition incorporates differences in execution. Added to these is the individual selection of larimar, whose pattern and tone do not follow industrial repetition.
We therefore speak of individual pieces within a collection. We do not promise a different sculptural mould for every bottle; identity appears in the specific combination of painting, stone and finish. This distinction should be visible and explainable.
The value of knowing provenance
For a collector, context is part of the object. Keep the information accompanying an edition: authorship, concept, series identification and materials communicated by the brand.
That record helps tell the piece's story accurately. We intend future releases to make that journey traceable without relying on informal accounts or scarcity that is difficult to verify.
Artistic value, without investment promises
Collectible appeal may arise from authorship, design, the limited series and personal connection with a piece. It does not guarantee a future price or a resale market.
We prefer to discuss the value of living with a work and knowing its origin. TIGUERÓN aims to bring together objects worth keeping for what they are: a meeting of Dominican creativity, natural material and quality rum.

Quantities, artists and dates will be announced once confirmed. Current images show an aesthetic vision in development, not an edition already available.
