Art in a space
A place for a piece with character.
How to give a ceramic piece prominence: proportion, light and materials for a serene presence at home.

A piece with personality needs a place, not necessarily a new room. Thinking of TIGUERÓN as an artistic object invites you to observe your space: where the eye rests, how light arrives and which materials accompany it.
THE ESSENTIAL IDEA
An object stands out when its surroundings give it space. A stable base, soft light and few nearby elements usually make a good beginning.
Choosing a focal point
A console, open bookcase or display cabinet offer very different contexts. Before adding objects, consider the place's function and the distance from which the piece will be seen.
An overcrowded surface can dilute painted detail. A completely empty one may feel deliberate when proportion is right. The aim is not a formula but allowing the object to be read clearly.
Materials that accompany
Ivory ceramic can converse with warm wood, pale stone and subtly textured fabrics. A black interpretation finds another register beside deep tones and lighting revealing its volumes.
Work with a small number of nearby materials. You need not repeat blue, red and gold throughout the room: sometimes the contrast of an expressive piece and serene surroundings is enough.
Letting light reveal detail
Soft side lighting can reveal volume and the painted surface. Excessive reflections can instead make the composition harder to read.
Consider the space's real use too: stability, circulation and distance from edges. Final care and conservation guidance must be consulted for the finished piece and its specific materials.
Displaying a collection without making a row
When several pieces share a space, try moderate differences in position and height, always using stable, proportionate supports. Sufficient distance allows motifs and individual stones to be compared.
You can also rotate the pieces on display. Living with a collection does not require showing it all at once. A space's rhythm can change without losing the group's identity.
An object opening a conversation
TIGUERÓN's presence at home arises from its dual reading: rum vessel and artistic piece. The interest lies not only in recognising a tiger but in discovering who interprets its surface, how the colours are composed and what distinguishes its larimar.
That is our ambition for future collections: that each object can tell something of its own, even in silence. Interior scenes are visual proposals, not photographs of products or installations already realised.
